ECCE 2022 Registration
ECCE is the leading conference in human-media interaction and cognitive ergonomics. It provides an opportunity for both researchers and practitioners to exchange new ideas and practical experiences for a variety of domains. On this page you'll find the most recent information on how to register for the conference and how to book a room in the conference hotel.
We hope to hold ECCE again in presence and are planning accordingly. However, we are constantly monitoring developments with regard to the Covid-19 situation. If necessary, we will switch the ECCE 2022 conference mode to online and adjust the cost scheme accordingly. We will then of course refund any registration fees paid in excess.

Notes
| 1 | The workshop fee includes the registration for the first day (Tuesday, Oct 4, 2022) only. Participants will get served with coffee breaks, a business lunch and a nice dinner. |
| 2 | Full conference fees include all days including the workshop day (Oct 4-7, 2022). The fees include coffee breaks, business lunchs on all days, and the conference dinner. The registration fee is per participant, not per paper (in other words, even if more than one paper is accepted, a participant only has to pay the fee once). A free registration (e.g., for DC students) does not include additional paper publications. |

The trip to Heidelberg has been cancelled due to time constraints and feedback from ECCE participants. The special event has been replaced by a get together and will now feature a free trip to a nice local place. Food and drinks must be paid for by the participants themselves on site. There is no booking needed in advance. |
ECCE 2022 Accommodation
ECCE 2022 will take place in the Hotel Barbarossahof. We have made special arrangements with the hotel so that ECCE participants will receive discounted rates for rooms there. Since the entire conference will take place at the Hotel Barbarossahof and the hotel will also be the starting point for the conference dinner and the special event, we highly recommend all participants to stay there as well!
The hotel connects a 150-year-old tradition with a pleasant atmosphere and modern service. It is located in the Eselsfürth district of Kaiserslautern and offers large conference and banquet rooms accommodating upto 120 people. The rooms at the 4-star Hotel-Restaurant Barbarossahof include multimedia flat-screen TVs, free Wi-Fi, and a daily breakfast buffet. The hotel family-run offers a bar and restautant, gym and wellness area, free parking, and a Tesla supercharger station. The Barbarossahof's restaurant offers Palatian specialities as well as international cuisine on its copious menu as well as a high variety of drinks. In summer months, meals and drinks are served in the beer garden. Furthermore, the city centre is just 4 km away.
